Emily
Cohen is a Los Angeles-based artist and art teacher. Emily
earned a Bachelors of Fine Art In Illustration from the
Rhode Island School of Design. After graduating, Emily
began her career as a commercial illustrator. Her work
has appeared in several books and magazines, including
The Art of Mickey Mouse, The
Art of Barbie, When Rover
Just Won’t Do, “The San Francisco Examiner”,
and more. As a graduate student at UCLA, she received a
Multiple Subject Professional Clear Teaching Credential,
Supplementary Art Credential, CLAD, and Masters in Education.
Emily has worked as an elementary, middle, and high
school art teacher at schools all over Los Angeles.
She has also taught summer art programs and workshops
at Otis College of Art and Design, the Skirball Center,
